Hi, I'm Luke. I'm a writer for myself and others. Mostly others these days. I've done editorial, content, and copy writing throughout my career.
But I wasn't always a writer.
I grew up working on my grandfather's tobacco farm in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. In high school I joined the Future Farmers of America because I thought Iād spend my life working the fields. Luckily, a great teacher gave me a book list that ran the gamut from Cormac McCarthy to Fyodor Dostoyevsky to Margaret Atwood. I read every book on the list. My world opened up and, instead of milking cows or planting crops, I went to college.
After I graduated I worked as a carpenter building houses and furniture. And then spent six years as an art preparator and courier at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
Now I write.
